The French Lyceum "Victor Hugo" in Sofia has been looking for its own building for many years. This topic has always been a priority, but has still remained unsolved. Mr. Nikolay Kostadinov - Attorney-at-Law, a member of the Administrative Board of the Lyceum announced live on TV Europa which is the best solution to the problem
The history of the school dates back to the 1960s. To date over 650 children study in the Lyceum, and the growth of enrollment is around 10% per annum, taking into account the fact that the increase was 17% last year.
The school is one of two hundred and fifty-three French schools located in 135 countries, whose main purpose is to provide education of French citizens abroad, and to allow the Bulgarian students and those from other nationalities to receive training in accordance with the French educational programs. On the basis of a Convention signed between the Lyceum and the Agency for French Education Abroad, the education provided by the Lyceum is recognised by the French Ministry of Education.
The history of the French Lyceum in search of its own building in Sofia, and what is the best solution to the long-standing problem can be seen in the video file only in Bulgarian language.
